Manufacturing since 1941
Our founder E. Henry Conrad opened his first embroidery factory in 1941. Significantly, our New Jersey factory produced US Armed Forces insignia for World War II. Conrad also acted as a designer and pattern maker for other manufacturers at the same time.
Moved to North Carolina
In 1963, A-B Emblem moved our embroidery factory from New Jersey to Weaverville, North Carolina. And, we are still located in NC today. Most important, the production of patches for the US Military demands all US workers and US manufactured goods under the Berry Amendment.
We supply all branches of the US Military
A-B Emblem supplies patches to all branches of the US Military. Altogether, this includes the US Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Space Force. As well as, the Army National Guard and Air Force National Guard.
