Attach-MY-Patch™ from A-B Emblem

Attach-MY-Patch™ is a hybrid of Pressure Sensitive and Heat Seal. It allows for long-lasting home patch attachment without sewing or using an iron.

Step-by-Step Guide, Attaching to Fabric:

Bend Attach-MY-Patch™ to open paper tab. Peel off one half of the liner.
Flip patch over. Using the 1/2 side not peeled, line up with the patch shape.
Once lined up, press down the peeled adhesive side. Then peel the other half of the liner and press to complete.
Peel off only half off the backing on the other side.
Position and place the non-adhesive side on the garment.
Press and place the adhesive side down on the garment. Then peel away the other side and press to complete.
Turn the garment over. Starting at the edge of the patch, rub forcefully across the entire back with a metal spoon.
Place in dryer for 15 minutes on tumble dry low. Remove and rub the back of the patch again with the spoon. This step cures the adhesive!
Wait to wash the item for 48 hours. Wash with cold or warm water and try on tumble dry low or medium only!

Attach-MY-Patch™ can also be used to attach to non-fabric items- just apply like a sticker!

Sewing is always best

Why? Because with sewing the stitches pass through the emblem (patch) and the item. Then wrap themselves tight to lock it together. This creates a super-strong mechanical bond.

Heat Seal is the next popular method

Heat Seal is an adhesive backing lamination that’s activated when pressed at a temperature setting for a specific amount of time. Pro tip: a cover cloth is recommended to protect the patch.

VELCRO™ brand aka Hook & Loop

This is a system for attachment that allows for removal and quick changeouts.

A Hook backing is sewn to the patch. We offer an overlock edge border attachment for super strength! A Loop mate is provided for attachment to the item. A-B can laser cut a design into the loop, as shown in the video above.

Pressure Sensitive Adhesive backing

Also known as Peel and Stick, or Sitcky Back, this is an adhesive backing applied at the factory. The patch comes with a peel-away release paper on the back. So, it’s like an embroidered sticker.
